I make websites.

I work full time as a web application developer at an IT recruiting firm. I'm in charge of a mission-critical nation-wide online timesheet application. Programming, architecture, database administration, tech support... it's all me. Not that I'm bragging, it's just my day job :P

I also have a couple of other projects I'm currently working on. I'm designing a web site for Paw Prints, a custom embroidery company for pet products, and for Fitness The Lee Way personal training.

Sharing is caring.

I've written some tools that I find useful, maybe you'll find them useful too.

Code coming soon!

I use these.

  • Stack Overflow The single most useful resource for all developers, hands down.
  • TextMate My favourite text editor and IDE for Mac OS X. I think it's well worth the money. If you're not sure, there is a free trial.
  • Eclipse This used to be my IDE of choice. I still use it at work, and for other Java projects.
  • jQuery My JavaScript library/framework of choice. Simplifies every-day JS, AJAX, and way more.
  • jQuery UI The official UI plug in for jQuery. Helps with user interaction, and custom animation.
  • jQuery Tools Brings many HTML5 features to today's browsers — even IE! Also has some cool UI plug-ins that jQuery UI doesn't.
  • Sass A language that compiles to normal CSS. Allows you to write CSS with variables, nesting, and more cool features.
  • Google Font API Google is trying to "make the web beautiful" by providing fonts accessible to any website.
